Sam Main tried his first glass of wine at an Easter gathering with his family when he was 13 years old. It didn’t take very much longer for him to become enamored with the world of wine. At 21 years old, his employer gifted him a bottle of 2009 Silver Oak, which Sam drank in a stemless martini glass, in the absence of wine glasses.
After years of serving and exploring wine, he finally committed to pursuing something only a handful of passionate wine professionals have ever achieved: completing all three of The Master of Wine, Certified Wine Expert, and Master Sommelier distinctions.
